PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO… In an attempt to build up car counts in the J.C. Auto Street Stocks, the management of the New Humberstone Speedway starting this Sunday July 21st and going through the month of August will be allowing any street stock from the Niagara Frontier to come race with their home track rules package.
“Any Street Stock from Oshweken, Ransomville, and Merrittville will be allowed to come race at Humberstone with a couple of limitations” stated Director of Race Night Operations Clinton Geoffrey. “Cars must run home track rules and minimum weights” Geoffrey explained. “All cars must have a minimum wheel base of 108 inches and they cannot have offset cages” Geoffrey continued. “If there are any drivers that have any questions, do not hesitate to send me an email at Clinton@humberstonespeedway.com“Geoffrey added.
Racing returns to the New Humberstone Speedway on Sunday July 21st as Boltworks Industrial Fasteners Presents the DIRTcar Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks plus the Vintage Cars. Also, there will be a Kids Poster Contest. All kids are encouraged to draw a poster of their favorite driver! Racing will start promptly at 6:00pm with both the Pits and Grandstand gates opening at 4:00pm.
Fans are marking August 4th on the calendars as it is the annual Molson All Canadian Championships. A full six division card racing program will take place and the fan favorite DIRTcar Modifieds will be there to make it a seven division show as Humberstone kicks off Civic Holiday Weekend with the biggest party in the Niagara Region. The night will be capped off by a fireworks spectacular and live music will be playing post race. Camping is available with a purchase of an adult ticket to the All Canadian Championships.
