The Go Nuclear! Late Model Series is set to resume this weekend as the Excel Tower North Division invades Mohawk International Raceway on Friday Night and Brockville Speedway on Saturday. With the World of Outlaw Late Models in the area for other events this week, some of the top names could make their Go Nuclear Series debut with Bear Lake, Pennsylvania’s Chub Frank is the first to confirm his entry piloting an Excel Tower Service Crate Late Model for the very first time this weekend. The “Cat Daddy” Clint Smith from Senoia, Georgia will also be in action both nights in a Shayne Tenace owned car.
Mohawk International Raceway hosted the Go Nuclear! Late Model Series for three events in 2012 with Dale Caswell winning twice and Sean Beardsley also picking up his first ever Go Nuclear victory. Brockville Speedway had just one event in 2012 as Dale Caswell took the checkered flag once again in the series finale. Caswell’s win earned him the title of Go Nuclear! Late Model Series champion for 2012 and he is back this year ready to defend his championship.
Both of these great events will have a television crew on hand taping the events for viewing on the Atomic Power Racing Hour on Time Warner Cable throughout New York State. Each event will also feature a driver Frisbee toss in conjunction with the redraw for feature starting positions, and a lucky fan with the race winner’s signature on the Frisbee will receive a VISA Gift Card.
Go Nuclear! Late Model Series T-shirts will be available for purchase at Brockville Speedway on Saturday night behind the main grandstand area at the Finish Line Web Design Merchandise trailer. T-shirts will be sold for just $20, and hoodies will also be available at $30 each.
