Mother Nature Forces Cancellation of Mothers Day Program at Humberstone Speedway

PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO… Due to the weather and ground conditions, the management of the Humberstone Speedway was forced to postpone their Mothers Day racing program on Sunday May 12th. Motorsports Images would have presented a full card of racing at the historic Port Colborne oval.

Racing returns next Sunday on Victoria Day Weekend featuring the Go Nuclear Late Model Tour in the John Puhl Memorial.  The John Puhl Memorial Night also features the Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks and the Pure Stocks. A fantastic fireworks display will wrap up the racing program as we celebrate Victoria Day. Racing will start promptly at 6:00pm with both the Pits and Grandstand gates opening at 4:00pm.

The New Humberstone Speedway would like to thank all the new and returning Weekly Series Sponsors: Cosco Haulage (DIRTcar Sportsman), Peters Excavating (UMP/DIRTcar Pro Late Models), J.C. Auto (Street Stocks), Mike Knapp Ford (Pro 4 Trucks), Trackside Decals (Mini Stocks) and Frontier Auto Dismantlers (Pure Stocks).

The New Humberstone Speedway is located just two miles East of Port Colborne on Highway 3, just 17 miles west of the US/Canadian Border at the Peace Bridge (Buffalo/Fort Erie).
