Humberstone Speedway Cancels Sunday Practice Session; Re-Scheduled for Wednesday Night

PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO… (April 15, 2016) The practice session that was scheduled for Sunday April 17 at the New Humberstone Speedway has been cancelled due to wet grounds at the speedway and surrounding property. “We have not had enough dry weather to allow the crew to get up on the track surface” noted Humberstone General Manager Bobby Davidson. “We needed this warm weather a few days earlier” Davidson continued. We will be hosting a practice session on Wednesday April 20th with gates opening at 5:00pm and cars being on the track at 6:00pm. PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO… (April 6, 2016) The New Humberstone Speedway would like to introduce a brand new event coming to the speedway, the Dawn of Destruction. The Dawn of Destruction will take place on Sunday April 24, 2016 at 1:00pm with sponsorship from Tidyman Maintenance. Pit gates will swing open at 9:00AM with the Spectator Grandstand gates opening at 11:00AM and the thrilling action will get underway at 1:00pm. Grandstand prices will be $10 for adults and seniors, $5 for kids 8 to12 years old, kids seven and under are free. The pit gate price is $50 and that includes car, driver and scorer for the Enduro. PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO… (January 20, 2016) The Humberstone Speedway will be hosting the 2016 rules and membership meeting on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at the new Boston Pizza inside the Americana Resort on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Street Stocks, Mini Stocks and Pro 4 Truck meeting will be held from 7:00pm-8:30pm while the Sportsman and Late Model meeting will take place from 8:30-10:00pm. ST.CATHARINES, ONTARIO… (November 14, 2015) The Humberstone Speedway celebrated the 2015 season with the Night of Champions Awards Banquet, held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Parkside Conference Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario. For the third consecutive year, Ridgeway, Ontario’s Gary Lindberg was crowned the track champion in the PC Works DIRTcar Sportsman. Lindberg picked up six victories on his drive for three in a row. Chad Chevalier, James Michael Friesen, Cody McPherson and Brad Rouse also picked up checkered flags throughout the season.
