Humberstone Speedway is ready to get the 2012 season underway with the annual drivers meeting. The meeting is to be held February 12th at the Americana’s Restaurant Jack Tanners back room in Niagara Falls.  The Mini Stock & Trucks meeting will take place at 2 pm, Pure Stocks and Street Stocks are 3 pm and Late Models and Sportsman are 4 pm. Before a standing room only crowd, the Eve of Destruction presented by JC Auto brought the 2011 season to an entertaining close at New Humberstone Speedway on Sunday September 25. Over 100 cars, including sixteen drivers who have competed regularly at New Humberstone Speedway, started the 75 lap Enduro which was punctuated by three flips and five red flags. Frontier Auto Dismantler Pure Stock regular Jon Vineski dominated the Enduro early but dropped out near halfway with mechanical problems.  Former Brian’s Tire Repair Street Stock competitor Dave Bitner Sr was the class of the field from that point on and he crossed the line first to capture the big win.
